Pony Odd Couple | Concerning Offers to Help…

December 9, 2012 in Games, General, House of Tail

Vinyl Scratch and Octavia nude in House of tail

Two more pony characters added to House of Tail! I couldn’t stop. Still think the game needs more females, so am always open to ideas and/or parodies.

Currently finishing up the last bits of code, and fine-tuning the math. Will need to draw the map backgrounds, items, and a few story characters. And code the main menu / game select screen. Then onto beta-testing and release!

Concerning offers to help…

You guys and gals are the best! We appreciate the offers to help and don’t want to discourage anyone, but we’re kind of in an odd position because we’re doing this professionally.

Upon spending a lot of time responding to these offers in the past couple of months, and discussing this topic with the team, we’ve decided it’s way past time to write some kind of official page to explain things. We’ll probably put it in the About Us page somewhere.

We do want to grow the team and talk about game ideas, but there are issues involved! Policy forthcoming…

Happy Halloween! – HoT Vamparity

October 31, 2012 in Games, General, House of Tail

Happy Halloween!

We hope you’ll have much fun and candy. (The real party doesn’t start for us until a few days later when all that candy goes on sale–best of times!)

Vamparity in House of Tail

I floated the idea of adding a pony character to House of Tail’s roster, and the reactions were so silly and crazy that I had to draw at least one. I hope you won’t mind. She’s a vampire based off of Rarity, © Hasbro’s My Little Pony.

Since it’s a free game and all, we thought we could get away with a little parody. We are open to suggestions for other female characters, as the game’s lacking a bit there. No promises though, as these things take way too long to draw ;_;

Updated FAQ | Power Outage

October 24, 2012 in General, Website

FAQ Updated

Updated the frequent asked questions:

  • If you have purchased a game and lost the installer, we will be happy to send you another, just ask!

  • If you have installed Common Grounds’ demo before installing the full game, there is a chance the game will think it’s still in demo-mode. Simply delete the game’s exe and reinstall.

  • A couple of fans have noticed Norton Antivirus flags the installer as a virus. The files aren’t infected and there’s no need to worry. It’s Norton’s reputation scorer giving us a bad grade, likely due to us not wanting to spend who knows how long trying to figure out how to properly code digital file signatures.

Power Outage at Fupoco HQ

Our power was acting really crazy and we were offline for a week or so. After some time spent rewiring lights and outlets and a call to the power company to find something was wrong on their end, everything is OK.

We’re extremely excited to get back into this–it has been too long! I do believe it’s time to finish up House of Tail 🙂

Sebastion Tease | AWA ’12

September 27, 2012 in Common Grounds, Games, General, House of Tail

Sebastion slacking off and being goofy in House of Tail

That sneaky raccoon–how did he get into House of Tail?!

Character request update: we have about 8 more to finish and send out for final approval. Almost there! Should have close to THIRTY characters for the initial release.

Team Fupoco will be away at Anime Weekend Atlanta this weekend, (September 28-30.)

After having experienced two furry conventions, we only thought it honest and true to see an anime one for perspective. I, for one, shall take many pictures and seek out the more ‘interesting’ things and dutifully report my findings. Have already seen events listed as ‘Maid the RPG’ and ‘Yaoi Pajama Party’, which is at like 3 in the morning!

Post Anthrocon 2012

June 22, 2012 in General

We had a blast at AC, (a huge furry convention.) I made sure to take lots of pictures, mostly of the sights not usually seen online, but that you’ll see again and again while you’re there. I’m thinking of writing a silly article about it, mostly for those who want an idea of what it’s like.

Best part was understanding that Fupoco doesn’t really need a convention presence, that we don’t have to rely on it like a lot of artists seem to. Was a huge relief! Will explain later…

Brief summary continues…

June Update, away at AC

June 10, 2012 in General

Thanks for all the feedback about Common Grounds! Can’t thank you enough.

Work continues with the next game. It’s going to be different, but free to play in your browser. No screenshots yet, because we’re still using placeholder graphics.

We will be away at Anthrocon between June 13 – 19, and won’t be able to answer emails during that time. Just there to see the sights and sounds, so don’t look for a Fupoco booth. Would be funny though. Trying hard to keep this classy and presentable!

May Update

May 11, 2012 in General

We’re having trouble accepting orders from the UK with our payment processor. We’re very sorry for the inconvenience and will let you know why as soon as we find out.

And we’re well past the 100 sold mark for Common Grounds! Hurray! While nothing to brag about, it’s not bad for 2 months and our first release. We weren’t expecting it to be received this well and are continually excited and thankful. Your support means the world to us, we never want to take it for granted.

I’ve been testing some web game stuff, hopefully I’ll have something to show soon. And I’ve been amassing a nice collection of other furry games of the erotic variety that I’d like to showcase and spread the word about. The more the better!

Forum Registration Fixed – Weird CG Error

April 27, 2012 in Common Grounds, Games, General, Website

Forum registration should be fixed. Turns out it was me mistyping exceptions to the server’s cache :B

The FAQ has been updated with info about an “error defining external function” in Common Grounds. We’ve heard from 2 people having this problem and it seems to be fairly rare, but very annoying. Please try the demo before buying, just to be on the safe side.

And it’s things like this that really bug us (zing) with the engine. To finish games within a reasonable time-frame, we much prefer licensing engines rather than making them. The extra cost is having to deal with errors that we sometimes have to rely on someone else to fix. Maybe we’re overreacting, but it’s super frustrating. Can see why so few ever give this a go, dang…

Thanks for understanding, and thanks to everyone who has enjoyed the game!
