Another game worth mentioning (if it hasn’t already) is Strive 4 Power.

Management game with some RPG elements. Game’s fairly polished for an early beta. The main story line and side quests aren’t complete yet, but that’s to be expected this early. Still an entertaining addition to the collection.

Lilith’s Throne is simliar to TiTS in its design, although it has polish in ways TiTS never had. And it’s still in early alpha. The UI’s a fair bit cleaner, and you can control the fun parts. The map layout is procedurally generated with each new game, instead of a fixed map design.

It’s interesting, and I want to see where the dev takes the game. 🙂

@Kaive Talking to my circle of friends who are into X rated games, I would say it’s far too common an issue. Some sites are pretty good about keeping their games sections full of actual games. Others… not so much. That is half the problem. And the ever-present searchbombing to force bad results to the top of an engine’s list.

It’s really early in the dev cycle and no public builds are available yet, but what he’s showing off looks really good so far. I can’t wait until he puts out a public release.

The Cathouse Tail had similar issues to Furoticon. Money getting wasted, and the project hitting the shitter really fast. The current incarnation of TCHT is not the same as the first run, and I think KatsuoO got booted between incarnations.

The kicker to me is it’s always 1 of 2 scenarios: visual novels wanting to be called dating sims, or interactive sex animations/dress ups wanting to be called games.

I loathe looking for porn games and seeing most are only dress ups and animated loops. I can see where visual novels can start blurring toward dating sim if they follow any kind of branching story method.
