Its a full 3D …well, you could honestly say its GOING to be a 3D version of HoT. There’s an alpha currently available to play for free (Patrons get the newest version, non-patrons get the prior version to the newest). There’s not too much to it yet, but my god I am quite excited to see what it’ll become. I also should mention that their old alpha had surprising VR capabilities, and is something they are actively pursuing to make better. (Huh.. I could of swore KatsuoO was part of the project…)

Very cool to see. It’s browser-based, free to play, but you do have to register an account to play. Has the mobile game property of throttling play, so you’ll have to check in once a day to go through a section.

My only gripe is calling it a “dating sim / mystery game”. Played the first day and it’s a visual novel so far. I’ve noticed some other prominent furry devs misclassifying game genres. I know genres are a tricky thing, easy to argue over, and sometimes hard to pin down. The kicker to me is it’s always 1 of 2 scenarios: visual novels wanting to be called dating sims, or interactive sex animations/dress ups wanting to be called games.

I loathe looking for porn games and seeing most are only dress ups and animated loops. I can see where visual novels can start blurring toward dating sim if they follow any kind of branching story method.

And I don’t mean to knock animations or anything, they’re nice. I wonder if this is most everyone’s experience and why the games can feel harder to find than they really should be.

no demo or screenshots, but does seem to have a… basic scenario script, but not an actual scenario?
While there’s nothing much here yet, I do find it interesting to keep track of the development scene at large. There’s quite a lot of projects that have been sort-of started, ideas kicked around, desires to make something. Would like to see a community pop up around it, to the point where we’ve been kicking around the idea and desire to sort-of start that here. Would be cool to talk game making more often with other furry devs and enthusiasts.

Some sites are pretty good about keeping their games sections full of actual games. Others… not so much. That is half the problem. And the ever-present searchbombing to force bad results to the top of an engine’s list.

The Cathouse Tail had similar issues to Furoticon. Money getting wasted, and the project hitting the shitter really fast. The current incarnation of TCHT is not the same as the first run, and I think KatsuoO got booted between incarnations.

and your definitely not wrong about this kind of game being hard to find, Kaive. if it’s not on or mentioned on one of the bigger “furry” sites then yeah, it can be hard to find furry games.
like, you go to a site such as http://www.funny-games.biz/adult.html and…it’s like, 90%+ not furry and what furry stuff they do\ ( = italics? strange, i’m used to e621’s [i] DText) have is likely stuff you’ve seen elsewhere like on e621.

i guess it’d be considered a dating sim or something. mainly focuses around you playing as sonic and doing things with cream around the house (and in town if you can find a few hidden items. note: click around the rooms in the house) and no, it still doesn’t have a new update so don’t bother asking on that. i think Aval0nX and whoever else is working on the game eventually got sick of that and now it’s that situation where “it’ll be done when it’s done”.
we all probably know how that goes. no updates till it’s finished.

iirc it’s basically a dating sim and the cast is mostly furry (theres you and at least 1 other human but otherwise it’s all furries).

Lilith’s Throne is simliar to TiTS in its design, although it has polish in ways TiTS never had. And it’s still in early alpha. The UI’s a fair bit cleaner, and you can control the fun parts. The map layout is procedurally generated with each new game, instead of a fixed map design.
It’s interesting, and I want to see where the dev takes the game. 🙂

Management game with some RPG elements. Game’s fairly polished for an early beta. The main story line and side quests aren’t complete yet, but that’s to be expected this early. Still an entertaining addition to the collection.
