So yeah just for kicks and giggles I tested out the Online portion of House of Tails.
And to my amazement it worked!I have a Samsung Galaxy Stellar.
And used both the Internet Broweser included and also Firefox.
The Internet Broweser did work but was very sluggish but still playable.
The Firefox had some sluggish times but was very much better then the one that came with the phone. So yeah you can play on a smart phone! =3
And yes the save and load also work as well! =3Just thought I would let every one know and Fupoco know this as well. =3
June 4, 2013 at 12:09 pm #1889How does Opera Mini/Mobile work with it?
June 4, 2013 at 2:00 pm #1894For everyone else? Sure! I don’t have a smartphone that I can use to test it, but I sure can…wait…I COULD test it, actually. But for the sake of everyone else benefiting, it would probably help. ^^
Opera has one of the most popular mobile browsers in the world, and also has a desktop browser, and is the basis of the Wii web browser, among other things.
June 4, 2013 at 6:40 pm #1906Nope does not work with Opera.
It loads the main title page but go to tap on one of the two options and it does nothing.Did a shut down and boot back up and seems to be working now though?
It is about inbetween the Internet Broweser and Firefox but is playable. 🙂I also noticed that the buttons don’t always want to work though. 🙁
Trying to save the game and tapping on Save like crazy and nothing is happening. >.<Tried it in Chrome as well and cannot get past the main title screen keep tapping on Casual Play but nothing happens.
So in conclusion you will want to get Firefox as that works the best so far with House of Tail. 🙂

June 4, 2013 at 6:44 pm #1907Chrome made a lyer out of me.
As soon as I posted the message it worked. xDBut since Android is part of the Google IOS or what ever cell phone OS’es are it is basically the same sluggishness as the Internet Broweser included on my phone.
June 5, 2013 at 3:41 pm #1919It’s also playable on a (third gen?) iPad, but sluggish at times (safari and chrome).
Tried it on an older iPod touch and, while it works, it’s way to slow to really play (safari).
I think button mapping is one of those mobile touchscreen issues we’ll likely never address, sorries.
Would be cool if we can improve the frame rate on these.
June 5, 2013 at 7:40 pm #1925@Kaive No worries on trying to fix mobile problems on the online version of the game.
Maybe at some point have a app to download for HoT?
And I think I might start a what mobile phones work with HoT online version of the game thread or something? =3June 10, 2013 at 6:23 pm #1965For the sake of testing/troubleshooting, you could just use a vm to emulate the functions of most smartphones, the only problem with those is they tend to have different issues then the actual device…
June 11, 2013 at 8:54 am #1971Yeah… am thinking, while we’d like to, we can’t support mobile devices officially. Not unless we port it to where the game can run natively on andriod or iOS (don’t hold your breath~)
June 15, 2013 at 10:38 pm #2009True that, trying to get a game(or just about any program for that matter) ported over to a mobile device kann be a real pain, which is why I don’t really use most of them, I (try for the most part lel) make my own from a base device such as a rasberry pi(very useful devices, but it;s a bit unlikely you’ll see an Android or Iphone running Linux Mint anytime soon)
July 21, 2013 at 5:32 pm #2133Wasable to find an Android emulator if anyone else wants to tinker with it, haven’t tested it out yet though. http://theisozone.com/downloads/pc/other/android-emulator/
