https://www.patreon.com/thecathousetale If you have an old PC, don’t expect to play this well. Its a full 3D …well, you could honestly say its GOING to be a 3D version of HoT. There’s an alpha currently available to play for free (Patrons get the newest version, non-patrons get the prior version to the newest). There’s not too much to it yet, but my god I am quite excited to see what it’ll become. I also should mention that their old alpha had surprising VR capabilities, and is something they are actively pursuing to make better. (Huh.. I could of swore KatsuoO was part of the project…)

Less of a game and more of uh… a lot of furry flash ‘interactions’ created by Das.September 5, 2016 at 7:53 pm #2721Two Years Later…
Woo boy.. where to begin. To start, somewhere within this time I lost contact with many/most of my friends, either be it due to account transfers or by choice to release toxic friends (the hardest thing i’ve ever had to do. Don’t know why.) Sorry to both Kaive and Whry, the both I miss talking with. Much has changed within these two years, and at the same time- not as much as I had hoped.Music Game is still strong…
In the past two years, I’ve created newer masterpieces I am absolutely proud of. I still wouldn’t call them the greatest things ever, nor would I call them worthy for some. But for me? I’ve reached many milestones creating them. I’d show links of examples of my music, but I’m not sure if that’s allowed.Programming is a standstill, however.
There are quite a few people I feel like I’ve let down. Heck, I even forgot some of the most basic programming knowledge, because after horrible event after horrible event, I stuck with my music and just didn’t put much effort into coding anymore. Is it still my dream to become skilled in many programming languages? Absolutely! Do I still know my way around Visual Studio and Eclipse? You bet your furry tail I do. But factory work, getting fired, going to a new factory for a year and a half, getting injured again…eh. I didn’t have time, I kept getting discouraged any time I came home. What about this WordSpark you’ve been working on?!
Ha! What a journey… I got nothing to show for it. I did learn much more about ActionScript and HTML5, even some C# (for Windows-Specific users) to get this dynamic story writing tool off the ground. And what about your HTML5 MP3 player?!
Now that? Eh. It was just a fun little project- but in the end, is it even needed? So many sites support some sort of codec player for music to be uploaded and heard.Positive News?
We will see from here. I’m now working at a deli with ridiculous hours while I get reapplied for college. Unlike the factories I was working at, these guys will work my schedule around my school, so I can FINALLY finish my schooling. Computer Science and Engineering… Maybe I’ll be useful later on after all.Why the hell are you bringing a thread back from the dead like this?!
For one, if I continue any conversation in any thread on this site, wouldn’t it be doing the same? For another, maybe I just feel nostalgic. I had big dreams coming to this site. It’s silly, really. Regardless of the kind of games Fupoco develops, it was nice to think I had a chance to be a part of it. Kaive and Whry definitely made me feel that way, anyway.August 28, 2014 at 4:07 am #2461UPDATE:
Since starting my endeavor, I lost all of my project files. Yes yes a minor setback. On the upside, I know how to code more of ActionScript 3.0 now. HTML5 conversion is a bit hard, but i’ve learned its DOABLE. And it works on any device with a modern browser. At the time of working on my projects a bit more deeply, I didn’t have internet. However, I learned something interesting on the Wii U console – The browser has a DEVELOPER MODE allowing you to control the browser, or rather inject into the browser, using your IP and any computer connected to the same network. Like.. whatever computer/laptop you have thats connected to the router at the same time. This allowed me to inject HTML5 website pages onto the Wii U and to my surprise, THEY WORKED. My flash file was converted into HTML5 and it WORKED. I tested it on my old HTC Evo 3D and it worked there too. That was less surprising but hey, I have to make sure it works.
Browsers used:
Wii U using the browsers IE, Chrome, and Firefox developer mode;
Firefox, Opera, Chrome, and Dolphin on both the HTC Evo 3D and Moto G;
Waterfox, Opera, and Internet Explorer using my PC. Chrome.. crashes my PC for whatever reason. Not touching chrome for a while.UPDATE ON WORDSPARK:
It’s… its moving, but at a snail-ish pace. Flash isn’t wanting to agree with me when it comes to transitions.OTHER UPDATES:
I sustained a knee injury working at the factory, and now i’m off the job. Many bad things are about to happen. I mean the cars radiator blew, so I have no working car, I have no job, and i’m going to be broke come the 1st thanks to rent. If I don’t find a job soon, I’ll be moving down to Palm Bay, FL back with my dad. I really don’t want to bother him, he seems happy…My birthday passed three days ago (Aug 25th) and I mean.. at least I got a new phone ;u; (that would be the Moto G). Interestingly enough, its quad-core and Radeon based Adreno 305 really keeps up with the times. I managed to get a C++ compiler working with the Linux kernel somehow. I mean, it doesn’t really execute but it saves as C++ and smaller script programs. I rooted the phone as soon as I got it and installed Cyanogenmod. Kinda helps with my development endeavors even on a mobile platform. Kinda nice actually.
July 6, 2014 at 6:35 pm #2385Ah, but thats just it. I already have someone who can sprite for me. Also, I am NOT doing the designing portion of any coding except buttons and actual GUI. I myself am not going into designing- just programming.
Basically if I were to have a team, I’d have an artist/modeler/spriter/designer. Me? I’m going to be the person who codes the underlying engine. I’ll do the math, literally. I know I’ll have to alter things with code, but just because I’m no artist doesn’t mean I’m not creative.
Since I posted this, I also started on a new engine- and not a game engine either. Already am working on getting the logo trademarked, the name of the engine is called ‘WordSpark’
I’m pretty sure this is just a project phase of mine, but it’d be damn cool if I keep myself with it. No details yet, not until my first post with it in use is out there

I don’t have a demo of tetris uploaded but I’ll find a site eventually.
I am no designer by any means but with how fast I’m learning this stuff (see above, took less than 3 days), I should be able to start making others’ stuff look smoother or just .. work in a matter of month(s)
Also to those looking for what the very first prototype of my player looked like?
http://spirit-writer.deviantart.com/art/Vs-Nightmare-EX-Versus-456486284
EEZ UGLY. also its the streaming variant so the player itself will look er.. ‘loaded’ almost as soon as you start the page, but it is actually taking from my Weasyl post. This is to prevent Deviantart from taking my crap and selling it off to someone else.

June 27, 2014 at 12:00 pm #2376NOTE: NOT ALL THESE ARE ‘PURE FURRY’ GAMES LIKE YOU WOULD FIND WITH CROWJOB OR HTH, But I list them in generalization of the furry population, or released by them.
[SINCE ASH IS TECHNICALLY UNDERAGED, LINK HAS BEEN TAKEN DOWN]
Semi-Furry game with ‘Pokémorphs’ and similar game mechanics to the game we grew up with. Also the humor is just as good, if ever so slightly campy- yet still takes a nod to the original games.“Space Escape”
http://urielmanx7.blogspot.com/?zx=fcdc49fbcf0d8304
The game is still undergoing lots of changes now, but so far one of my absolute favorites. Its an RPG made in Flash using AS3. Its slightly buggy but there are a decent amount of animations. Also the same person who does some of the work for Project X: Love Potion Disaster does most of the art (if not the game) for this game. ( NoPenNameGirl or something? ;u; )“Breeding Season”
http://breedingseasongame.blogspot.com/
You breed monsters that look inspired from LoK or the Hyrule Universe. Although the main character isn’t furry, you’ll find Elves, Demi’s (half furries), more monsters and animals in this game. No one was exactly specific on what you guys were looking for.“Legend of Krystal – Version G” ~By Gorepete
http://www.legendofkrystal.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=3578&cache=1
Its a polished version with a new gameplay style of the old LoK games. Its got a slew of new animations, mostly all of them much less clunky. There are also events to go with this as well.I did not bother adding Peach’s Untold Tale or Corta’SPLATFORMER as they onli have furry concepts/characters through character selection, and not actual furries in the games themselves. They can be found on the masterthread here if you’re interested:

January 12, 2014 at 10:26 pm #2288This is what I’m trying to explain. Anything of the newer flash variant <or heck, even some old flashes> and HTML5 will always be CPU intensive unless you’re using a newer GPU that kind of splits the workload. Your and Firewolfe don’t exactly have er… the best of CPU’s. they’re too dated. I honestly don’t see how you can render with that CPU but I digress, I actually admire that you’re patient enough for it. I however lack patience.
January 12, 2014 at 7:58 am #2279@Firewolfe well, you are running on older hardware and shtuff. But I researched the information about the board and there is one of three processors you could have. Intel Celeron, Intel Pentium 4, or an Intel Core 2 variant. I don’t want to assume what type you have but I want to guess that you have a dual-core, as the Pentiums, Celerons, and Core 2’s are most likely dual-core in that era.
for Windows XP and what you have, 3GB isn’t that bad. having a dedicated GPU as well is nice. Its a bit dated but I know it was one of the better GPU’s of its time.
If you’re going to build a Radeon HD 8xxx series, I suggest waiting just a tiny bit longer, as the Radeon R7 and R9 series are emerging. if you want a nice powerful budget build, go with the R7 series. Best part is that it will be perfectly compatible with R9 when you get yourself some money to dish out for the better cards.
Some people may see me AMD Biased, which they wouldn’t be completely wrong. I’ve built mostly pure AMD builds just because its saved me lots of money, not because Nvidia or Intel is bad. Oh, and upgradeability/future proof. Though, a deal is a deal if you find one.

November 5, 2013 at 3:29 pm #2263I can not speak as to the security of browsers considering I use a damn good antivirus thats never let anything go through, let alone knowing which sites aren’t exactly the most secure anyways. As for performance, IE is performing as great as any of the other browsers I tried.
And of course its a monopolizing browser on non-internet usage peers, as they don’t go out and explore the other browsers. I see that Chrome and Firefox is booming just as much as IE, so I don’t want to hear about that. Don’t forget that some OS’s aren’t even compatible with IE, eg: Ubuntu. And Mobile Environments are included in this. only Windows Phone has IE, and I see the workings of Chrome and Firefox will shortly make their way there <I havent checked in the last couple of months so they could be on there already.>
You are definitely an above average user if you know more than just one or two browsers, and are testing it on more than just one computer. A user who usually knows what the heck they’re doing is an above average user in my book.
Also, food for thought (at least my food anyways) :…I love salt, so of course you’ll see me- I cant say argue, but conflict in a way(?) with this. Its just not too long ago I was on the spectrum of users that disliked <see: hate> IE. Once IE 9 came about, it worked better than v8. Then I got Windows 8. IE worked even better. Then I upgraded my PC. IE was comparing with my favorite browser: Waterfox.
I actually care a little on what other users think. So if I seem…bashing a bit, I do apologize. I just wish users would stop making their thoughts into what sounds like fact and instead you could just say ‘IE works like crap…for me =u=’
October 28, 2013 at 2:48 pm #2260Hopefully you mean for your own game and your own playthrough. Remember, its a privilege to be in the game, not a right. But then again I’m not Kaive or Whry.
Its just its one thing for fans to make suggestions, but try not to get out of hand about it. It is a neat idea to have fans take a good part in this game… but once again rules should be established. There are many times I see fans that take part in games think they deserve some sort of compensation. Also, the more fans to take a huge part in the game, the more that WANT to be involved. It will snowball once popularity increases, and some fans may think its unfair that Kaive will suddenly limit ideas and contributions out of nowhere. <The less understanding fans of course>
October 25, 2013 at 11:44 pm #2255Edit:
I’ll need to do a bigger elaboration on this when I get the time <I will do it tomorrow>.
Internet Explorer 11.0.9600 <x64, Win8.1> has ran rather well and there wasn’t really any performance drops. if anything, the performance increased after the game was going on.
Waterfox 24.0 also was performing extremely well on my system.
Although it could honestly be my build and my laptop, as they are not some run down machines or college machines some web gamers use, I would like to point out that Waterfox does tend to act better memory-wise, and IE 11 does- believe it or not, improve a considerable amount over 10.
Double Edit:
in Ubuntu 13.10 x64, I found it to run a bit more.. unstable. The speed wasn’t really dampened though which I find rather odd.
Tested on Chromium and Firefox <Both are recently updated, but I’ll need to log onto my Ubuntu partition to see exactly what versions they are.
Triple Edit: <damn how many of these will I have>
IE, in my opinion has traveled a long way since IE6 and 7. It runs very smooth on my PC, and is still my main browser <although I do find myself using Waterfox just as much, as I LOVE the extensions.>
so, depending on your system IE can be as fast as Chrome and Firefox/Waterfox are. being a ‘crap browser’ is a bold statement when its an opinion trying to be stated like a ‘fact’
Lastly, Windows 8 is a matter of preference. Windows 8 is not like the ‘next vista’. Windows 8 vastly improves on Windows 7, with people whining about the damn Metro interface. Windows 8.1 has gotten praise and is called the ‘much needed update to 8’. Also, there IS no Windows 8.2 <yet>
In fact, Windows 8 is more like 7 than 7 is to Vista. <Desktop Mode, hello people>
If you need to save money, I do advise many to try out Ubuntu, as it is a very flexible and interesting OS- not only that it is free.
October 24, 2013 at 2:36 am #2219Although sometimes things can get out of hand, you should let the fans help you with this. but I think you should set rules to that Kaive. Ya know, to prevent any misunderstandings and such.
June 8, 2013 at 11:09 am #1954Wow, this post got more active than I thought. In any case, the animation idea would be amazing. Even if they’re simplified pixel animations. I’m not gonna lie, kind of a sucker for pixel-style action ><; 8~16 bit of course. I just.. the game needs to be more dynamic to keep my attention. I need to see the life of the game- not just seeing X’s turn into money when you start your day.
Put little pixel things or simple animations in the background. For example, maybe darker shades traveling across the ground to show that there are moving clouds above blocking out the sun. Maybe put a flag or two up to show that there is wind. Good examples of low end dynamics would be found on games like RCT and Mario Party 1~3.
There should be more pictures too when Rep’ing up. Either that, or maybe show different images depending on the items/outfit you’re wearing. I know that means more drawings, but you dont have to do full drawings.
Like I said, I’m a sucker for the style sprites you put on FA. >< Not saying that everyone else is.
Another thing. You should maybe add a clock in game. Maybe some things take less time than the whole day. Healing, hiring, stuff like that. That would be asking for you to code much more, but they are ideas and suggestions.
March 23, 2013 at 10:00 pm #1745Ah, but I don’t know anyone from your development team, so as far as I’m concerned, you’re the boss. xD
February 20, 2013 at 10:48 am #1619Hey Kaive, did you get skype just to pull the music from me..? You’re never on.
In any case, I have a few more project files for you if you want them, I managed to find a few hidden in a backup folder I had created.
Also, CG for Android is on a indefinite hiatus. I am still in a bit of a pickle with my life. Sorry guys.
