New to the forum, not to the game

Hi Decus!

I removed the spam. Guess I’ll need to focus on this sooner rather than later. Lots of things available to counter it. Just reminds me of this one guy I talked to briefly, who had made his own forum-website for his furry tabletop game, but had to shut it down due to the out of control spam.

Have really been neglecting the site, trying to get House of Tail into a beta playtesting state. So much to do…

@Kaive Perhaps we need someone who acts as the website dev then?

Whry has stepped up to the plate as a forum admin, (it’s not just me who works here, honest!) He’s been doing a great job removing the spam.

This thread seems to be the only target, so we’re just the victim of someone’s dummy script. It should stop altogether once I finish putting some anti-spam counter measures in place.

Have noticed it says “Comments are closed.” at the bottom of every thread. That’s odd. Am working on it…

In short, it’s a somewhat harmless problem on the back-end that I’m currently hiding, but will require me to reformat every page template to get rid of using a plug-in I thought was required for forums, but turns out it isn’t needed, that I happened to build the entire site around, haha XD

Hehe no, since its all done automatically now X3 all they need is the know how and all they have to do is have the spam run around forums
